OVERVIEW
E-passport reader
FASTpass P1 reads ICAO travel documents using 500 PPI imaging, SMARTCORE’s proprietary OCR engine and contactless RF chip reading. It also reads 1D and 2D barcodes. Support for non-ICAO documents is available through customization, subject to document requirements. The compact design fits on desks or integrates into e-gates and kiosks. Applications include immigration clearance, visa processing, airport check-in and identity checks at hotels, casinos and duty-free shops.

Reads characters on ICAO travel documents using SMARTCORE’s OCR technology.
Contactless RFID
Reads information stored in the RF chip of an e-passport.
Barcode and document support
